I was so excited to get a chance to speak with Karen Rose, who is one of my all-time favorite authors. I will admit it: my heart was pounding with excitement while I waited for everyone else to join in on the conference call, and I was feeling a lot of excitement and a lot of nerves. Karen Rose was so warm and personable. As silly as this sounds, I kind of idolize my favorite authors the way some people idolize movie stars, and there's always a risk that an idol won't be as wonderful as you imagine--but Ms. Rose was awesome. Talking to her was like talking to a long-time friend. She was open, friendly, and forthright; she made lots of jokes. Another fun part of phone conference was talking to other readers; the conversation was stimulating and the ladies asked a lot of smart questions. What a fast half hour it was! I would absolutely love the opportunity to chat with Karen Rose or another author sometime!

Book clubs?

Do any of you belong to book clubs? Not online ones mind you but local ones? What do you generally do at them? I will be attending my first in person local book club on Friday. I'm excited and nervous. I'm hoping it lasts and goes well, but nervous at the same time. I think I do better online often than in person. I get nervous sharing my thoughts sometimes. Plus I have issues with my teeth, I'll admit I need dental work done and I've put it off. So it adds to my issues. But still I want a chance to meet in person with others who love reading romance. I'll just have to see how things go.

So do you belong to a book club? Preferr the ones online?

Any hints or thoughts you could pass on to me?

Acheron?

Okay who's read Acheron? Who's still waiting to buy the book? Who is holding their book to read for a while longer? What are you thoughts? Try not to put spoilers here please but I'd love to hear your thoughts. I loved this book!

And can hardly wait for the 18th when I'll see Sherri again and get my books signed(only have 4 that aren't signed already by her) so this will be great. Please I'm meeting an online friend up there and can hardly wait for that!!!
