When Suzanne finds a possible connection between the fire and the nearby Prairie Star Casino, she comes to realize that someone wants to keep a big secret. And if the ladies aren't careful, they could be gambling with their lives.
SCORCHED EGGS is a fast paced addition to the Cackleberry Club series. A perfect example of how women can multi-task; running a restaurant with a side of solving crime. The characters are realistic and best friend quality. The story line will keep the reader interested and the recipes are yummy. This book has the right blend of mystery and friendship.
