L. K. Below’s Cinnamon and Spice Scavenger Hunt

Hello, everyone! As a writer of erotic romance, among other things, I’m very pleased to introduce to you my latest release -- and my latest contest!

Blurb:

Jack is smart. Jack is charming. Jack is persistent.

But Melissa is dead certain that he isn't the guy for her. In a moment of weakness caused by his shiver-inducing voice, Melissa finally agrees to one date. She shows up on his doorstep determined to get it over and done with, but Jack has something different planned. With a home-cooked meal, wine, and cinnamon-scented candles, can he break down Melissa's resolve?

Can he steal her heart?

Rules:

1. Must be 18 or older to enter contest.

2. Contest open to entrants world-wide

3. Email me at the provided address (lbelow at lbelow dot net) with the answer to the question. No need to answer in essay format (unless you feel moved to do so) a simple sentence or even one word will enter you.

4. Only one ballot per question -- but if you visit my other stops and answer the other questions, you will be entered multiple times.

5. Contest open until May 2nd, 2011 at 11:59PM EST. Winner will have 48 hours to confirm their email address and give a physical address where they would like their prize to be mailed.

Prize:

1. A goodie basket of cinnamon-scented products.

2. A photo of the Cinnamon and Spice cover, signed by me (L. K. Below)

3. A PDF copy of Cinnamon and Spice.

CONTEST ALERT: To enter to win the above prizes, simply email the answer to the following question to lbelow(at)lbelow.net.

Question: What is your favorite scent?

Do you want more chances to win? Each scavenger hunt question answered counts for one ballot towards the prize. Check http://lbelow.blogspot.com for the full itinerary. Good luck!

Hmm... to answer this one takes a lot of thinking...

Great contest.

My favorite scent is coconut. A close second is sunscreen (:

Since I work for TRRC I won't win, but we're in spring and hopefully summer soon, I love lemon, a great fragrance for this time of year.

Cinnamon and Spice sounds just like my kind of book. Lilac is my favorite scent. But cinnamon reminds of the holidays, which is my favorite time of year.

What is your favorite scent? How long have you been writing, and what is your favorite genre?

I'm looking forward to reading your latest release.

Lavender is my favorite.

I'm a cinnamon fan myself, but it always amazes me what scents can remind one of. The fresh outdoors - pine is another of my favorites. I don't get to hang my clothes outside much any more, way too busy, but there is nothing like sleeping on a comforter that has been hanging outside in the sun all day.

Sarah - I, too, miss hanging clothes outside. I recently moved to a city from the country, and no longer have the yard space to do so. I love the breeze and the fresh outdoor scent it brings.

CE- Thanks for stopping by :)

Gina - Sunscreen, friend? Well, I guess I shouldn't be one to talk. Most people hate the smell of gasoline, I love it. Not my favorite, though.

Livia - Lemon is a nice, fresh smell. It's needed after a long winter.

Marybelle, lavender is lovely too.

Gloria - My favorite is lilac. I adore the smell of lilacs. They remind me of home, and the lilac bush out front.

I've been writing novels since I was about thirteen. I honed my craft all through high school instead of paying attention in class (hey, it looked like I was working!). I had every intention of going off to University, but unfortunately didn't have the money to. After a year of working, that's when I started looking at writing as a serious career. I had my first (paying) acceptance last year, at age 20. This year, my first single-author books are coming out. I've got a lot of backlist to shape up and show to the world.

My favorite genre? I can't really choose. That's in part why I write so many things. I love fantasy, science fiction, and of course combining both those things with a little romance. I adore the past, and historical is also one of my favorite genres. It's very hard to pick. I love to read (and write) just about everything.

Thanks for the questions. :)

Have a great day, everyone!
