When his truck breaks down on the side of the road and Sadie gives him a ride to the Gas and Go, it puts them on an unexpected journey into the unknown.
I definitely enjoyed the characters and the Texas-isms such as “Lord love a duck”. The chemistry between the characters is well developed along with the other characters in the book. This is my first time reading this author and she definitely has a new fan in me!
