This book is wonderfully written, and deeply emotional. HIDDEN tells the story of Anna Metzger who runs to her Amish friend Katie and her family's Amish Bed and Breakfast. Anna is unsure of herself and her life, but longs to feel safe again. Within Katie's home and with Katie's family Anna begins to find the person she truly wants to be, and the place she feels she belongs. But the past is not going to go away. And Katie's brother Henry isn't too happy to have Anna staying with them. At least at first. Has Anna found her home finally? While in hiding will Anna find her true self?

This is a Christian fiction with romance and I'd suggest everyone read it. It's a great story. You will be glad to have read it!

Too hot to read?

It's a 100 or close to it here. I swear we are burning up. But still I want to read. Sit back in the A/C and under the fan, and read. I plan to start FALLING FOR KING'S FORTUNE by Maureen Child in just a bit. So has it ever been too hot or too cold for you to read? As in Thia's post ever been longing to read and just couldn't? What do you do?

Do you move from book to book until you can read? Or do you give it up for awhile and try again later?

Any books you long to read when it's hot? I'm wondering if a Winter setting will help me cool off?LOL

Why am I complaining.....

So, why exactly am I complaining again? After all, I am in a nice air conditioned house, on vacation, in the Florida Keys. The sun has shown brightly and beautifully each day. I feel at ease here, like the Mother goddess is filling me full of love and joy with this time in her paradise. Even with all that, I am still slightly ill. I love to read on vacation and just like everytime, I bring about eight books or so. How many have I read you ask? One and I am not even finished with that! I drove down here myself, a thirteen hour drive with my two pre-teens. (Don't get me started!!) Then, when I do get the chance to read, I am either so distracted or tired, that I cannot get through one whole paragraph, much less chapter. Arrrgghhhh!!! I just want to kick back and read. With that being said, let me go on further to say that while I am complaining, I have had a super-fabulous time and even though I would like to kick back and read, it is all good. How could it not be? I am in paradise!
